As the Director of Business Development for Industrial IoT at Banner Engineering Matt Negaard is responsible for leading the strategic direction for the new end-to-end solutions connecting Banner sensors to Banner cloud solutions via Banner gateways in the Industrial market space. He spent 20 years as a sales engineer, business development, and leading product strategy for sensors and wireless products companies. Matt followed the trend of data flow to the cloud and spent the last four years leading business development for an IoT software company. In that role Matt lead successful deployments for large industrial implementations of connected products. He is able to put his background to use every day in his role of identifying and creating sensor-to-software solutions for the industrial markets that are ready to engage in the Internet of things today.
