Gulam Emadi is a Principal Systems Engineer at SetPoint Medical, which is leading the way in bringing bioelectronic therapy to patients with inflammatory diseases. He has 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to his work at SetPoint, he worked at Advanced Bionics, a developer and manufacturer of cochlear implant systems. He had multiple roles at Advanced Bionics, including leading its in-house clinical testing group and overseeing the specification and verification of the clinical fitting software. Prior to joining industry, he pursued graduate and post-doctoral studies on the neurophysiology of the auditory system. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
