Tech companies have shown how to build "sticky" product experiences by emphasizing a tight feedback loop between users and potential product features. User feedback is just as important in medical applications. While the FDA recognizes the need to identify and mitigate potential use errors, user feedback should go beyond the FDA requirements to ensure the development of a great product with widespread market adoption. Unfortunately, there are a variety of factors that delay developers from getting that crucial user feedback. These include fears about privacy, cost, and bias. In this session, Product Creation Studio's CTO, Scott Thielman, will focus on the necessary collaboration between developers focused on usability and those focused on the technical architecture. He will discuss ways to collect user feedback concurrently throughout the development process.
